Gangwon

Located in the mid-eastern part of the Korean peninsula, Gangwon-do is blessed with beautiful mountains (Seoraksan, Chiaksan, Odaesan and Taebaeksan) and clean beaches that offer some of the best sceneries and vacation spots throughout the year. Top summer vacation destinations include Gyeongpo Beach, the largest beach on the east coast, and Jeongdongjin Beach, which lies in front of Jeongdongjin Train Station. The beaches are popular spots for watching sunrise on New Year’s morning as well. Winter in Gangwon-do is heaven for winter sports enthusiasts, as the province gets a lot of snow. The 2018 Winter Olympics took place in Pyeongchang, Gangneung, and Jeongseon.

Jeju

Tour brochure

Jeju Island is the largest volcanic island in Korea. Officially called Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, this premier tourist destination boasts mild weather, as well as scenic beauties of beaches, waterfalls, cliffs and caves. Some of the top tourist sites include Hallasan National Park with a largely diverse species of flora and fauna, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak with breathtaking views, and Manjanggul Cave, the world’s longest lava tube that has been registered as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage. Meanwhile, Jeju has recently won the Global Geopark certificate, and also has been selected as the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

Busan

& Gyeongsangnam-do

Located in the southeastern part of Korea, Gyeongsangnam-do is home to some of Korea’s major historical and cultural assets. In the south is Hallyeohaesang National Park, spanning across Geojedo Island, Tongyeong City, and Namhae County. Tour visits will include Hallyeosudo Viewing Ropeway (the only dual-cable automatic circulating gondola system in Korea), Dongpirang Wall Painting Village (called Korea's Montmartre), Hakdong Black Pearl Pebble Beach, and more.

Situated on the most south-eastern portion of the Korean peninsula, Busan is Korea's second largest city and the number 1 trading port.
